Hotel Rabelais sur Fontenay-Le-Comte

22/08/2024: Efficient service. Very good meat. The manager is very pleasant. After reading the comments we didn't dare stop although it was very well located on the way back, that would have been a mistake.

16/08/2024: We had dinner at this restaurant recently. The welcome was not the most pleasant but the staff already seemed overwhelmed. The cuisine was correct, the prices reasonable and the menu very clear and well explained. The plates were well proportioned and the dessert was very good. The waitress we had was very professional and knew how to answer our questions (a dark-haired lady with short hair). Thank you very much to her! However, there are a few points for improvement: - It is not always pleasant (for customers and employees) for the manager to make comments or give instructions in front of customers. - The young waiter connected to 1000V is certainly fast and seems efficient but he very often enters the restaurant shouting orders that the barmaid surely cannot hear. In addition, he occasionally removes glass or other carafes as he passes with a quick helping hand without even a quick word. The staff seemed very busy and we understand that but even that detracts from the quality of service.
