Hôtel restaurant Bertrand sur Bar-Le-Duc

A warm welcome, a lovely and quiet room, a beautiful bathroom, and comfortable bedding. The restaurant was delicious from start to finish, and the service was impeccable. Very satisfied. We look forward to returning without hesitation.

So... what can I say...? We had the impression that Philippe Noiret and Thierry Lhermitte were about to walk down the stairs. Like in the first Ripoux film. A hotel from another era. From the outside, you'd think it was closed. Abandoned. A man greeted us. Perhaps with his father behind him. We had requested a bathtub when we booked. We were moved to a different room upon arrival. We went upstairs. And there... Old-fashioned atmosphere. Old-fashioned room. Worn-out bed. Leak in the bathroom. Hence, mold. We asked to change rooms, explaining the reason. The father yelled at the family members because the room hadn't been cleaned. Even when we explained that the mold wasn't due to the cleaning, he kept yelling. He gave us another room. When we returned from dinner, what a surprise! A lovely room. A lovely bathroom. But the toilet held a very solid memory... The bedding wasn't bad. The breakfast, on the other hand, was excellent. The cook makes everything to order, even carving the ham! An amazing omelet.
