Hotel Restaurant Carlina sur Macot-La-Plagne

Beautiful lunch. Highly recommend. If the weather is good and you would like to sit outside, must book. In high demand.

Great location, friendly and supportive/understanding staff, excellent self-catering facilities to support a big group size, and all of this for a very reasonable cost. Truly ski-in and ski-out as well. We kept wondering what the catch was, but we were very happy to find out that there was nothing! If you don't want to clean the property yourself there is a 50 Euro charge per person though. The property has everything you need! All in all an exceptional stay for a very good price.

Our stay was perfect except for one detail.. the rooms are spacious, the terrace very pleasant. The spa is a real plus, ideal after days of skiing. But the service is non-existent. Whether at breakfast, in restaurants. No hello, the breakfast was constantly incomplete (always something was missing like the plate, cup, the tables were empty without cutlery). We always had to chase the waiters to get something, we felt like we were bothering them, no words for us or a glance. At the same restaurant, you had to get up from the table to get something. We were served raclette without potatoes. It was only halfway through the meal that they finally brought us the potatoes after several requests on our part. (The restaurant was quiet, 5 tables when we went) For a hotel of this standard, such service is unacceptable. This is really the downside of the hotel. Otherwise the 5 stars were deserved. Because it’s a beautiful structure, beautiful rooms, parking, a shuttle at our disposal with a top (blond) driver, very kind!!! Thanks to him and the very pleasant ladies at the reception!

Very comfortable beds, great pillows, quiet rooms, we slept really well the whole week. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Big thank you to Bastien who made our week so enjoyable but all the receptionists were incredibly kind and the hotel director especially friendly. The hotel is a little bit further away from the center but easy to ski into and away from the younger crowd which is a plus. It’s also a 5 min walk from the center of Belle Plagne which has lots of lovely bars and restaurant. Great warm and cosy atmosphere in the bar area (big fire) bar staff were excellent. Breakfast was good, dinner ( we only tried the la table de Carlina) was great! We had an amazing time!

Excellent cuisine and dish of the day, successful young and friendly service, magnificently well-exposed setting and completely appropriate prices.

Great musical evening on Thursday evening, by the fire while having a good drink!

Great place to stop for a drink when skiing in La Plagne. Nice cozy lounge.

The hotel's location is excellent, directly on the slopes (ski-in/ski-out). Private parking with possibility of loading, good service at the reception, beautiful room with view of the slopes and the mountains, perfect cleaning of the rooms, excellent breakfast and dinner (half board), the service of the restaurant team is great . Excellent hospitality! The only downside is the wine list, the prices of which are quite high.

An unforgettable experience in the Carlina Hotel. The 4 stars are well deserved. The breakfast meals are excellent. The staff are adorable, smiling and helpful. I hope to be able to return there one day.
