Taste-wise: inventive cuisine, subtle flavors, a delight for the palate. A prestigious wine cellar: thankfully, some "accessible" prices and the option of wine by the glass, a welcome touch. Our experience: - with a bottle of white Sancerre and a glass of red to accompany game and cheese: it was perfect. Thank you to the sommelier for his recommendations. - with the Epicurean menu, although we were enthusiastic about the flavors, it did raise a few regrets: personally, I would have preferred the cheese, which wasn't included in the menu, and slightly larger portions of fish and game. My partner, who doesn't eat cheese, was offered an extra dessert (from another menu), without being offered any other choice or the option to have nothing. - The dining room, divided into several areas, offers a degree of privacy but is a bit noisy (all the tables were occupied on this Sunday lunchtime). The decor is a little cold, in my opinion (modern round marble tables without tablecloths). I will probably return to try another menu and the weekday lunch menu during the warmer months to complete my review. For now, it's a good restaurant that I recommend.

I regularly eat at this restaurant, and it's really good. The service is pleasant and attentive. The sommelier is passionate. It's a pleasure to see him. It would be nice to see the chef make a round of the tables at the end of service to greet the guests. A reliable choice in the area.

We are writing to share our experience at Maison Castet, where we were warmly welcomed by Andréea and Baptiste, whose professionalism and kindness truly deserve recognition. Always excellent, very warm service and welcome

For us, this was our second visit to this restaurant, which in my eyes definitely deserves a star 🌟! Always so surprising: an explosion of flavors for the taste buds, beautifully presented and colorful plates. The sommelier is very friendly, as is the entire team. We will come back again and again, without hesitation!

A group of us ordered the set lunch menu for €31. It was probably, gastronomically, the best lunch experience I've had to date. I'm going off memory here but the amouse-bouche was a subtle fennel soup served in a tiny cup, the starter a cold melon gaspacho with pieces of chorizo and burrata ice-cream, and the entrée a choice of perfect Pollock and gently smoked filet mignon grilled to perfection with white butter beans and a garnishing of chopped veggies and olive oil that became just the most subtle sauce. All of this accompanied by a couple of fresh breads and sweet lemon-honey herb butter. Amazing. If it had been possible I would have gone out again the next day to try their dinner menu. I really regret Maison Castet is not on our route home.
