We spent two nights in this magnificent place, everything was perfect, beautiful, well-appointed room, hearty breakfasts, delicious evening meal in the atmosphere of the castle with its medieval decor. Thank you to the head waiter for his kindness, thank you to the cook for his well-thought-out gourmet dishes with real professionalism.. very beautiful site in our superb Tarn gorges.. have a good holiday and maybe see you next time with great pleasure, thank you to our children who gave us this dream stay for our golden wedding anniversary….it will remain a good memory…..

What can I say... the Château de la Caze... a dream...
Very professional welcome but without warmth (except the young girl). I had booked the Aldebert room... very pretty. For rooms at this price (and non-negotiable when the castle was practically empty... not even an upgrade offer). No coffee maker but a low-end kettle and instant coffee, a hair dryer which can be used as additional heating (fortunately I brought mine, low-end slippers and a bathrobe, you have to ask at reception In the evening we were invited to dinner in the living room (sitting in armchairs). seemed to know and did not apologize or offer anything else When we ordered dinner... more octopus, more salmon...
All this is not worth a 4*, its services and its prices (apart from the place which is fantastic).
To each remark the same response... the direction, the direction...
In short, I wouldn't go back there anymore, my dream has gone up in smoke.

Meals and impeccable service, only the restaurant would require a little makeover (from the time)

Extraordinary! The location can’t be beat of course, but we also love the way the chateau has been renovated, preserving history yet adding modern touches. Suite Jeanne is fabulous – the views in 3 directions, the comfortable bed, the cozy sitting room, the gorgeous bathroom. Staff were all very helpful and cheerful. Eager to return.

What an incredible stay! Staying in a castle is an extraordinary experience. Came as a couple for a romantic stay, we all loved it. The Jeanne suite is absolutely magnificent with its view of the Tarn and its lion’s feet bathtub. The lack of air conditioning did not bother us despite the heat (35!!). We slept very well with the windows open lulled by the sound of the Tarn.
We loved our dinner on the castle terrace, overlooking the Tarn and the garden. What a relaxing experience…
You feel alone in the world, in an exceptional setting.
Special mention to the possibility of being able to leave the castle for the descent of the Tarn by canoe. We loved being able to follow our breakfast and the departure by canoe without having to take the car.
Thank you to all the staff who took great care, from the very smiling receptionist, to the waiters, including the chef who came to speak to each table at the end of service.

Very beautiful setting. Attentive and available staff. Very good restaurant.
A downside: no air conditioning, no wifi, which is not really acceptable for a four-star hotel
