Hotel - Restaurant Chez Benat sur Anglet

We spent the night of October 8, 2025, at the Benat Hotel in Anglet. A wonderful welcome from the owner, who waited for us even though it was supposed to be closing. The room is small but spotlessly clean, with a small but adequate bathroom, a TV, and a super comfortable bed. The toilet is on the landing, except for a small downside, but for one night, it's not a big deal. A nice and pleasant breakfast. What can I say? A wonderful discovery, this restaurant, as always, is no fuss. Very good, generous cuisine, unique but excellent menu, and homemade. Very kind and caring waitress. Just a stone's throw from the Hermione. Bravo to you, frankly.

Friendly and accommodating owner. Clean place and comfortable bedding. The double glazing makes the busy street quiet. The bedroom allows for our travel cot. Parking is very easy. Close to all shops and the beach, you can hang out your laundry after swimming.

This is a restaurant that we really like, first and foremost for the quality of what you'll be served. The menu changes daily, so you can make it your canteen without any fear. The chef and owner are scrupulous and committed to delivering excellent cuisine. We recently ate a roast chicken there, just like we used to do at home on Sundays. The crowd is pleasant, mixing construction crews and visitors from the nearby Hermione, which is being refitted. Sandrine, the waitress, is full of kindness, energy, and overflowing activity. We recommend it. In July and August, it's open in the evenings, so take the opportunity to order a Ttoro fisherman's soup. We actually enjoyed a Ttoro twice in early August 2025. The broth was perfectly flavorful and balanced. The garnish and the fish were perfectly cooked. The quality/price ratio should draw you there very quickly. Bon appétit. Having enjoyed the Ttoro twice in early summer, we shared a third with friends in mid-August. Ordered three days in advance, we were delighted with the flavor of the broth, the perfect cooking and selection of fish, and the finesse of the bouchot mussels. A delight of authenticity and simplicity. We highly recommend it.
