We dined last night at L'Ecrin restaurant. We had a wonderful time: everything was perfect. A professional and attentive welcome, impeccable service, and of course, highly creative cuisine with perfectly balanced flavors. A true pleasure for both the palate and the eyes, thanks to the beautiful presentation of the dishes. We particularly recommend the pearly langoustine with Oscietra caviar and especially the Bresse chicken cooked in a spatchcock style.

A wonderful experience! I've dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants, and I think this one will definitely be in my top 10. The welcome was perfect, the service impeccable, and the food was truly delightful. We opted for the wine pairing, and again, it was excellent. I think we'll be back.

We had an absolutely exceptional evening at L’Écrin – Johan Chapuis, an unforgettable gastronomic experience from beginning to end. The cuisine is of a remarkable standard: refined, precise, inspired, and impressively executed. Each dish is an emotional experience, a perfect harmony of flavors, a true invitation to pleasure. We ate divinely, in a succession of dishes as elegant as they were delicious. The decor is perfect: elegant, understated, and thoughtfully designed. The setting is intimate and warm, creating an atmosphere conducive to a timeless moment. The staff is incredibly attentive, discreet, and extremely professional, with impeccable attention to detail and hospitality. Everything was perfect. Absolutely perfect. This evening will remain a memorable moment for us, an idyllic meal, a moment of pure gastronomic bliss. An exceptional restaurant that we recommend without hesitation, and where we will return with immense pleasure.

A warm welcome with a smile from Ms. Chapuis! The cuisine reflects the chef's style: simple, seasonal, local ingredients elevated to new heights. The staff's kindness and the sommelier's recommendation, who introduced us to a wine perfectly paired with the signature menu, were also noteworthy. We'll be back!

It's difficult to judge a fine dining restaurant, as the experience is so unique and personal to each individual, for those who know how to appreciate it. As for us, we will gladly return as soon as the opportunity arises.

As a restaurateur myself, and a regular at fine dining establishments, I wanted to share my mixed experience at L’Écrins. We came for dinner with our 4-year-old daughter. She wanted to eat snails, and I simply asked if it was possible to serve them without mustard. I was told that it wasn't possible because the preparation was already done, even though the sauce was added afterward… A lack of flexibility and, above all, consideration, especially when it comes to a child. My wife doesn't eat mushrooms, and we had a lot of trouble finding a dish that would suit her. The only suggestion made by the owner was langoustine, which we chose by default, without any real alternative. This gives the impression of not being listened to or guided in our choice, which is surprising at this level of restaurant. Perhaps we weren't treated like some other customers, given that the set menu we chose was €130, and we had mentioned that we didn't want to linger so as not to make our daughter impatient. The dishes were visually stunning, but the taste didn't live up to what one expects from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The service, apart from the sommelier—who was very friendly, professional, and with whom I had a pleasant conversation about wine—seemed too distant, even cold. Finally, we weren't given the wine list at the beginning of the meal, which is a shame and rather incomprehensible in an establishment of this caliber. In short, an aesthetically pleasing restaurant, but a human and gastronomic experience below expectations for a Michelin-starred establishment.
