Expensive for a 2-star hotel: €84 + €12 per person for breakfast. Double bed (140cm), no air conditioning, two flights of stairs (not easy with a large suitcase), and very noisy. It must be an old house converted into a hotel. However, the room and bathroom were clean.

We went to the restaurant at lunchtime. There were four of us with our small dogs. The food was very good. The staff were very friendly. I recommend it.

This review pertains only to the restaurant, as we did not stay overnight. The welcome was friendly, the terrace pleasant, and the dishes generous and delicious. Special mention goes to the chocolate peanut tart!

We had booked our first night, from May 13th to 14th, at Les Rives de l’Ain, but we enjoyed it so much that we ended up extending our stay until May 15th!
The hotel is superb, very clean, and perfectly maintained. The rooms are immaculate, comfortable, and tastefully decorated; you really feel at home there.
The welcome was warm throughout our stay, with a special mention for the lovely, smiling, and very attentive lady at breakfast.
And what can we say about the restaurant? We ate extremely well, with delicious, high-quality dishes.
An excellent place that we wholeheartedly recommend!

The hotel is very well located, with easy parking, which is really convenient. You can have dinner and breakfast there, a big plus when you don't feel like going out.
The room is spacious, clean, and super comfortable—no complaints there, it's perfect.
One small drawback, however: the soundproofing of the door leaves something to be desired. You can hear quite a bit of what's going on in the hallway or near the stairs… so you might wake up a little too early if there's a lot of movement.
Despite this, it's still a very good place to stay!

This place also serves as a bar. Lovely room and terrace. Very friendly welcome from the waiter. We had a pleasant and refreshing time after a day of hiking.

We ate at the restaurant one evening and the meal was good. We were warmly welcomed, the service was good, and the food was tasty. However, there was one slight issue with the dish: the fried Camembert was cold!

We had dinner there Saturday night...we had a salad, ham, breaded cheese, and quenelles...homemade fries (I think)...it was delicious and a generous portion...we didn't have room for dessert...special mention to the waitresses and their patience...especially the brunette lady who looked after us...thank you for her knowledge and advice on the wine and cocktails, which were very good.
