The location is exceptional, the sea view magnificent. The hotel is peaceful. The very generous breakfast served overlooking the sea was excellent. The only downside: no welcome upon arrival, the so-called family room was very small, and the bathroom was tiny. As a result, the price is a bit excessive… but we are on an island.

The hotel is clearly about to change hands; some reviews describe it as a ghost town. It's true the restaurant is closed for the 2026 season, but this actually makes it a quiet and relaxing hotel. We had a wonderful stay. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. The rooms in the annex are simple and clean. We had a magnificent view of the port of Saint Gildas. The terrace remains accessible and offers a superb panoramic view of the bay. Thank you also for the cocktail party organized at the hotel; the cocktails were incredible and the evening was very enjoyable.

08/10/2026: Delicious mussels and fries with a good beer, in a warm atmosphere.
17/09/2026: Excellent service at lunchtime, lovely waitress, nice place. It definitely deserves a higher rating. From the mussels and skate cheeks to the tender meat, the quality/price ratio and generous portions were all superb. Absolutely nothing to complain about. As a true Breton, I'm very happy! Thank you!

Restaurant L'Ezenn

11/10/2026: Visiting Houat off-season, we were lucky enough to stumble upon this superb crêperie! We received a warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious meal at a very reasonable price (plus it's organic!!). The pistachio/raspberry crêpe was particularly good :)
05/10/2026: We had a wonderful time with our partner on Saturday evening. It was fantastic. The crepes were delicious and the staff were friendly. A big shout-out to the chef for the excellent service! The sea view was truly lovely. We highly recommend this creperie.
