Excellent from start to finish. We decided to spend the weekend there for three days, from Friday, May 8th to Sunday, May 10th. Pleasant setting, delicious food, comfortable rooms, welcoming and attentive staff. I have absolutely no complaints about this stay; I highly recommend it!

We had an excellent stay at the Château Hotel with my girlfriend. The setting is magnificent, the rooms comfortable and very clean. The staff is welcoming and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant, both for lunch and dinner: the dishes were delicious, high-quality, and beautifully presented. The service was pleasant, and the atmosphere perfect for a romantic getaway. A truly wonderful experience; we highly recommend this hotel.

An ideal location, a nice menu, and a great young waitress. Beautiful dishes, but the salads were a bit lacking in quality.

We came for lunch after visiting the castle, and I wanted to introduce my fiancé to some local specialties he wasn't familiar with. I wish it had been specified that the enchaud (a type of sausage) would be served hot; it seemed like the least they could do, considering it's usually eaten cold. Anyway. The cabecou salad was quite good. However, I was very disappointed with the way the Sarlat-style potatoes were presented and cooked. They looked more like garlicky mashed potatoes than potatoes sautéed in duck fat with garlic and parsley. Again, this is anything but traditional, and I wish it had been the chef's interpretation. It was still tasty, but I was disappointed with the service. The waitress was friendly, but her colleague much less so, and I won't even mention the person who took our payment. I wouldn't particularly recommend it; there are certainly other, nicer places nearby.

Tourist restaurant. Not bad, but the portions are small. At the very beginning of the season, the waiters are running around everywhere and the service is slow, so the food arrives cold... a shame. It took almost two hours for lunch.

I'm delighted to have stayed at the Hôtel du Château in Beynac! The room was very nice, no complaints whatsoever. I ate several meals there during my stay; the servers were friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious, made with high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented. The view of the Dordogne River was a huge plus ❤️ I highly recommend this place ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
