Hotel Restaurant du Chateau sur Beynac-Et-Cazenac

We chose the starter + main course menu, and found the price to be reasonable. The starter of egg casserole with porcini mushroom sauce was a treat, perfectly cooked, although we would have liked a little more mouillettes. The dishes were presented elegantly and the service was very warm. We were lucky enough to have lunch with a magnificent panoramic view. However, the slices of duck breast were a little expensive for the portion offered, although their flavor was delicious. We were disappointed by the overcooking of the duck breast, making it dry knowing that I had asked for rosé. The duck confit was also succulent, but it could have been cooked a little less to preserve the tenderness of the meat. Despite these small imperfections, the dining experience was excellent. It's a shame that the cooking wasn't up to standard, otherwise everything would have been perfect.

We had lunch on the terrace on the banks of the Dordogne. Very welcoming and very friendly waitresses. The dishes were very well prepared and the bill was in keeping with the place. Just a little noisy because the road passes between the terrace and the restaurant. Dogs are welcome. It is very good. Best wishes

A superb discovery on the road to our vacation. From the welcome to the departure, everything pleased us. The service is professional, the dishes are generous, well presented and very good. We were recommended a fabulous wine. The prices are in line with the quality of the products. In short, stop and take the time to enjoy a good meal prepared by a passionate chef and served by professional staff.
