This is the second time my friend and I have visited. The first time, we were completely satisfied, both with the service (a special shout-out to the very friendly waiter!) and the food.
But we were really disappointed with our second experience. We arrived right when they opened, so we were the first ones there, and people who came after us (regulars) ordered and were served before us.
We had to wait almost 40 minutes between ordering and the arrival of our drinks and food. The waitress was kind enough to apologize; the bartender was absent, so she was handling more than she should have. But she wasn't alone during service... And there's clearly preferential treatment for some customers. We won't be back. The waitress was lovely but overwhelmed, and she was one of the only people who was truly dedicated and helpful.
We received a wonderfully warm welcome, and the establishment transports you to a delightful Asian-inspired world. Lucas's cocktails have delicious flavors and aromas. We are surrounded by beautiful plants and decor. We forget our everyday lives in this magical place. Thank you.
We arrived quite late last night and were greeted very warmly. The receptionist was incredibly kind and attentive, which is always appreciated after a long journey. We slept very well; the room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent, varied, and enjoyable.
