Hotel Restaurant du Soleil Levant sur Sarrebourg

We spent Valentine's Day at this restaurant. Honestly, the food was very good, no complaints there. However, the service was nonexistent. Our reservation wasn't even taken. When we arrived at our table, we were packed in like sardines. After ordering everything, we waited. The drinks arrived after the appetizers... then the main courses arrived, but the appetizers were still on the table. The young waiter was sighing because he had two plates to clear. 😅 And we ordered drinks with our appetizers, which arrived after we'd already finished dessert. No carafe of water arrived despite asking three times. I don't recommend it if you're short on time. Disappointed, we won't be back.

The waitstaff could improve their service and offer the chef's suggestions; it's a shame we only found out about them afterward, when the chefs suggested them to us later. Otherwise, highly recommended! The dishes are delicious and truly flavorful, just like back home!

I discovered the restaurant through my colleague. The food is excellent, the place is beautiful, and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend it.

While the food was, as always, of very high quality, it must be said that the service left much to be desired. A waitress who seemed completely helpless, an order that wasn't properly understood but was criticized for even though it was repeated three times, a wait of nearly 30 minutes for the daily special, drinks that arrived after the starter and main course despite several reminders… Fortunately, the food and the ambiance compensate for the staff's obvious lack of competence.

We regularly stay at this hotel; the rooms are very pleasant, with clean sheets, towels, and a well-maintained bathroom—nothing to complain about. On our last visit, we discovered the restaurant, which surprised us with a wonderful experience. The service is impeccable, the staff very friendly, and the food is frankly top-notch! 👌

This is the second time my friend and I have visited. The first time, we were completely satisfied, both with the service (a special shout-out to the very friendly waiter!) and the food. But we were really disappointed with our second experience. We arrived right when they opened, so we were the first ones there, and people who came after us (regulars) ordered and were served before us. We had to wait almost 40 minutes between ordering and the arrival of our drinks and food. The waitress was kind enough to apologize; the bartender was absent, so she was handling more than she should have. But she wasn't alone during service... And there's clearly preferential treatment for some customers. We won't be back. The waitress was lovely but overwhelmed, and she was one of the only people who was truly dedicated and helpful.

We received a wonderfully warm welcome, and the establishment transports you to a delightful Asian-inspired world. Lucas's cocktails have delicious flavors and aromas. We are surrounded by beautiful plants and decor. We forget our everyday lives in this magical place. Thank you.

We arrived quite late last night and were greeted very warmly. The receptionist was incredibly kind and attentive, which is always appreciated after a long journey. We slept very well; the room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent, varied, and enjoyable. A wonderful experience, thank you!
