Clean and well maintained. Rooms looked bigger in the pictures. Also the pool was not available after breakfast.

Simple but very pleasant hotel. We had one of the renovated rooms (+ €6) and those few € should perhaps have been invested by all those who made unpleasant comments about the hotel. The room is well renovated and big enough. There is a lockable garage for cyclists. I can recommend the restaurant, it's good. Very friendly staff, both at reception and in the restaurant. The breakfast is also completely fine. Overall a very good experience, thank you very much.

Great hotel and very good value for money.

Very nice hotel with good breakfast, good value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet room despite the road which passes nearby and on the parking side. Closed garage for bicycles, a plus. We recommend!

This place is a little gem in the middle of nature! My boyfriend and I were travelling and stopped at this hotel for one night; it was the best decision we took! ROOM: The double room we stayed in was very cozy, clean and super silent. It had all the necessary things we needed, except some ventilation for the night (being summer it was quite hot, and with the window open we got mosquitoes in immediately. This is the reason why I give 3 stars). But we still had a great, silent and comfortable night. POOL AND SAUNA: What a lovely spot! The pool was very big and extremely pleasant to enjoy some calm swimming time, followed by an amazing sauna! The sauna was turned on for us and it was clean, well kept, and the whole spot was visibly treated with care. They also have a hammam, but we did not try it, but it looked equally clean and well kept. RESTAURANT: AMAZING! Simply amazing. The menu offers few choices confirming that a lot of attention is put over the quality of the ingredients and the way food is prepared. I was astonished by the lightness and pure taste of all that we got. A special mention goes to the fillet that we both got. I truly believe is the best fillet I have ever had in my life, and even the vegetables accompanying it were tasty and accurately seasoned. If we had more time, we would have probably tried at least half of the menu! BREAKFAST: Little breakfast with just the right options. I missed the scrambled eggs among the salty options but just because I am lactose intolerant and there were no lactose free options except fruit and bread. I opted for pancakes with the home made jam and a few slices of watermelon. They were incredibly good. STAFF: The staff is simply great. Everyone was so welcoming, attentive and available. From the moment we stepped in each member of the staff had a smile on their face and was extremely kind. In all honesty, I really hope to have a chance to go back and explore the surroundings more! I strongly advice to pay this place a visit :)

Price-quality is very good and the staff is very friendly! The food is very tasty too and the price for a menu is quite low.

Pleasant place located away from the town of Saverne. Quiet place with parking. Spacious bedroom and well-appointed bathroom. Very nice indoor swimming pool. Restaurant room. Copious breakfast buffet. Accessible for disabled people. Reasonable price.

A very, very nice place, right on the canal. We would receive a friendly welcome. Price/performance fits. We had a renovated room. Everything was clean. The food could have been a little more seasoned. We'd love to come back.👍

Lock 34 where we spent one night from 25 to 26.07 was a great discovery for us, with very friendly and professional staff...from the young man at reception to the cleaning lady through the restaurant service and breakfast...all welcome you with a smile.....really great team. The hotel has beautiful rooms with everything you need and clean. We didn't take advantage of the pool, but it appeared to be well maintained as well. The meal and breakfast were great value for money...no complaints...for us everything was sublime. Thank you to all your team and we will come back...with our bikes this time. Sylvain and Manuela
