The 4 stars are mainly because of the place itself. A nice base for beautiful walks. Unfortunately, the restaurant itself was not open, but in a small outbuilding one could enjoy drinks and snacks, etc. I assume this will be different in the summer.

Wow, “stumbled into it” by chance after a hike and I have to say, I’d love to do it again. Friendly service, the ambience with a very special charm and the food, simply delicious.

Everything just fits together here. Nice service, value for money anyway. Lunch menu for 16 euros!! Included: starter (soup of the day or raw vegetable plate with 3 types of sausage), main course (cordon bleu with fries and salad), dessert (ice cream (3 scoops mixed)) or cheese with bread or caramel sorbet. What more do you want...

We “just” ate cake and drank coffee. But the abfel/pear cake was very good, there were also large pieces. It's nice to sit inside or even upstairs, even nicer in the summer with a wonderful view of Fleckenstein Castle, animals, etc. Adjacent is a large adventure playground for the little ones and some wooden loungers for the older ones. The staff was very friendly to us. The café is self-service.
