We spent one night there, but it was such a pleasure to have discovered this truly wonderful establishment... the owners were incredibly kind, thank you so much! A biker-friendly stopover that welcomed us early because of the heat, with a welcome drink. Our motorcycles were safely stored in a perfectly sized hangar. The meal was delicious and plentiful, thank you so much Marcel, truly. We will definitely be back because our time with you was far too short...

I received a very warm welcome as soon as I arrived. Once I parked my motorcycle in the large garage provided, I was able to enjoy the large swimming pool. After a pre-dinner drink, prepare yourself for a delicious and very generous dinner 😉 Breakfast is perfect. I highly recommend this establishment 😊 Happy travels ✌️✌️✌️ Nicolas

A very warm welcome in a pleasant and peaceful setting. We stayed for three nights on a half-board basis, where Marcel (a passionate advocate of local cuisine) prepared hearty meals for us. He also organized day trips for us. Excellent! Highly recommended.

A female motorcyclist who came to spend two days on a road trip in the Auvergne region. My first time staying in a biker-friendly hotel! I wasn't disappointed at all! A peaceful, warm, and family-run place. A great garage for motorcycles! I had a wonderful time at La Bergerie! The room was fantastic! The meals were hearty and delicious, prepared with taste and passion by the chef, as was the breakfast! It was very pleasant to meet and exchange experiences and recommendations for places to visit with Marcel and another couple of bikers! I absolutely recommend it! I will definitely be back! We spent a night there at the end of May 2026. A very friendly welcome, complete with a complimentary drink. The motorcycles were safely stored in a large garage. A pool table, pinball machine, spa, and swimming pool (unfortunately not yet open at that time) were available for guests. And the meal—we must mention the meal! It was a truly memorable experience. A set menu: starter, main course, cheese, and dessert, all served very generously (there were six of us, but we were served enough for twelve), with one instruction: as long as the plate wasn't empty, the rest wouldn't be served... Phew! They certainly know how to welcome guests in the Cantal region! In the end, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a wonderful time and night. Our only minor complaint is that while the bedding was adequate, the pillows could have been better; they were far too thin. You don't just stumble upon this hotel; you choose to go there. The road leading there is narrow and delightfully winding. But after all, we're just out for a motorcycle ride, it's not like we're in a hurry! Watch out for the (large) tractors; there are a lot of them, so safe driving is essential. I highly recommend it.

During a multi-day motorcycle road trip, Marcel and Céline gave us a very warm welcome. Marcel is an excellent cook (don't expect to go on a diet at his place)...the rural village is quiet and uncrowded...ideal for relaxing after long rides in the Cantal and Aveyron regions. Don't hesitate to stay if you're ever in the Cantal.

Marcel is always available to help bikers who stop for a break. Incredible and generous dinner. You won't want for anything at this inn. Thanks again, it was fantastic!
