Hôtel Restaurant Le Lion d'or sur Rocamadour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour (huit jours) : l'accueil chaleureux, la gentillesse, les attentions, les conseils, la propreté des chambres, leurs équipements vraiment complets (même s’il manque un pèse-personne pour gérer le poids dû à la générosité des plats). L'hébergement confortable, les délicieux repas et le service d'entretien impeccable ont dépassé nos attentes. Nous avons été particulièrement impressionnés par la façon dont tout a été organisé et par l'attitude amicale des membres de l'équipe. Nos motos ont également bénéficié d’un traitement de faveur en étant à l’abri dans un garage fermé pour la nuit (merci aux patrons de libérer l’espace en déplaçant leurs autos). Encore une fois, merci de nous avoir offert un séjour aussi agréable.

Very good address, already "tested" and very popular, on a half-board basis, as part of a trip organized by FMV, accompanied by 2 traveling companions, bikers in addition. 4 nights in half board which allowed us to appreciate this super well located and high standard hotel/restaurant. This about 4 years ago. I wanted to repeat the experience, always with FMV, in the so-called: freedom formula. As a duo. The 4th day is coming to an end, day “d” to take stock of our stay, hence this opinion that I had to share. Very positive review. What a joy this excellent address is! The hotel: well-kept, clean rooms, top staff, smiling and professional. The restaurant: happiness is on the plate! Top service, professional, efficient, smiling staff. Thank you to Mrs and Mr the owners, you ensure both the welcome and the service. Without forgetting the Top chef in the kitchen. Well done to you. Congratulations to your entire team! THANKS ! How to tell you. There are 5 of us at the restaurant, a great meal despite 50° in the kitchen. A team in the room perfectly in place and with a smile and kindness, despite my son's clumsiness with his water mint. Just a big, no very big congratulations to everyone. Yes, we will come back. Very nice server. It provides us with quality bread in good quantities, the same goes for water, no need to ask. Breaded Brie as a starter with salad, a delight. Excellent tartiflette Excellent honey roasted Camembert with homemade fries and salad. Duck breast also excellent. Dessert of the day: homemade diplomat.... A killer! We highly recommend this restaurant, with an air-conditioned room!

A must-do restaurant. Great service, hearty meal, served super quickly. A magnificent view if you are lucky enough to be in front of the bay window. Local product - so good that we reserved it for the rest of our stay. The menu is really a great price for the quality of the meal. You deserve to be better known and reputed.

Great hotel very well located for visiting the city and the citadel of ROCAMADOUR. Private parking nearby. Quiet location. Very friendly welcome (management and staff). Very good restaurant, delicious and plentiful dishes. Restaurant room with panoramic view of the valley. A superb stay. I recommand it.
