Visiting Rocamadour off-season, we were looking for a reasonably priced restaurant and decided on Le Lion d'Or. We weren't disappointed. Good value for money. Very friendly service. Reasonable bill.

5 stars because we ate at their restaurant, 3 children and 2 adults, and we had a very, very good meal. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and responsive. The meal was excellent. A huge thank you. It was a pleasure to eat in a restaurant like this, and we left very happy.

Mixed experience. We arrived 20 minutes before opening time and were told they don't take reservations... okay... we arrived second, at noon sharp... First question: "Did you make a reservation?" 🤔 Then the service was a bit slow... we were the second table seated and waited half an hour before being served, while those who arrived after us were served immediately. We still ate well, but regarding the salad selection, I would have liked to see a Rocamadour goat cheese salad option, for example... The wait was so long that we decided to get our desserts elsewhere. They could do better.

Visited on Saturday, May 2, 2026... very slow service, average meal for the price... you really feel like you're bothering them... the owner was rude when we asked for payment in a group
