We didn't try the hotel, only the restaurant. The food was generous, with a very affordable and varied daily menu. The service was quick, and the restaurant's location is ideal, situated on the road to Fontenay Abbey. The waitress was very kind and attentive to her customers.
The room, although modest in size, was very clean and well-maintained. The presence of a bathtub in the bathroom was a real plus, much appreciated for relaxing after three days of cycling. As for the restaurant, the cuisine is classic but quite good, with a decent selection. The service was efficient: the waitress was extremely friendly and polite.
However, it's a shame that the rest of the establishment isn't better maintained. The entrance, the back courtyard, and the terrace lack attention, giving a regrettable impression of disarray.
With a little effort in layout and organization, this hotel-restaurant could truly become a very good place to stay. It just needs a bit of elbow grease and a touch of Mr. Clean...
A very friendly young woman greeted us. The owner was rather reserved.
The bathroom was spotless, and the room was clean.
The bedding absolutely needs replacing. The pillow was like a brick...
The food was just average, nothing special.
The price was fair.
