Hotel Restaurant Le Teinchurier sur Brive-La-Gaillarde

Good location on the edge of the highway in a busy commercial area (supermarket, restaurants, etc.) near the city center (though you'll need a car or bike to get there). Relatively quiet. Friendly welcome. Reasonable prices. Acceptable comfort. Spacious, well-furnished rooms. BUT. The rooms are outdated, poorly heated, difficult access to the ground-floor rooms (stairs), uninsulated doors, an overly heavy front door, and no towels on my second visit, for which I was upgraded. And an absurd and unreasonable ban on bringing outside food! I've never seen anything like it! Even though the breakfast is quite disappointing, being rather ordinary compared to others at the same high price.
