Very nice restaurant with reasonably wide choice of meals and especially with great tarte Tatin. 100% recommend for your trip to Sologne.

As for the restaurant: we must admit that it is very good and that the decoration is very pleasant. But full of problems: - we were asked to reserve our dishes in advance (I had never seen that, but hey, why not) and despite this the service was very slow. 40 minutes for the appetizers to arrive! - The quantity served was far too small. At 25 euros per dish, it’s excessive! - The tarte tatin is offered without ice cream, without cream, and even if it is very good, well I missed it. - The service was nice but not professional enough. The waitress had difficulty taking the order on her tablet. In a small restaurant at 15 euros per dish, no problem, but given the standard of the establishment, it was disappointing. Hotel side: even greater disappointment. The room was basic, without even a kettle, without a small functional bedside lamp for reading (only large lamps) with a very noisy air conditioning and a shower whose shower head did not work (only the overhead). The person at reception assured me that it worked and that I had to follow the instructions, which I never found. Again, in a cheaper establishment, I wouldn't complain, but given the price, this is not normal. And the worst part was that the maid came home one morning while I was in the room! There was nothing to indicate the presence in the room. So in summary, whether for the hotel or the restaurant, I found that the services, although correct, were not up to the price.

Passionate about tarte tatin, we took a detour on the way to the holidays to get to the origins of our favorite dessert. We were not disappointed! The dishes served were delicious and the pie exquisite! The children's menu is excellent. We were very well received and our 5 year old child was pampered. I highly recommend.

Quality, quantity, price ratio Perfect

Only visited the restaurant. Excellent cuisine, plenty of choice. Unfortunately only 1 main course for vegetarians. Officially only 1 starter, but if you don't eat the lard/bacon the salad is also fine. And the goat cheese is also vegetarian! And then the world-famous tarte tatin: it's a must. In addition, excellent staff: you neither hear nor see them! Very personable and thoughtful. Even an English card for the children, chapeau. And for that price...recommended.

Nous n’étions pas venus depuis de nombreuses années . La maison Tatin était une référence et on y mangeait très bien, dans un endroit chargé d’histoire et classe. L’endroit est toujours aussi beau, pourtant… il est regrettable de se voir collés deux par deux , en rang d’oignons sur des tables alignées comme en brasserie, alors que de l’autre côté de la salle les tables sont toutes vides. Du coup, adieu l’intimité des conversations. Quant aux plats, certains avis parlent d’une cuisine digne d’un étoilé. Pour avoir mangé dans un étoilé hier , il n’y a aucune comparaison possible. Bon, mais un peu lourd. Enfin le service est un peu décousu. D’autres endroits à Lamotte sont bien plus a la hauteur, attention a ne pas se reposer sur les lauriers qu’offrent l’endroit.
