Ikea sur Strasbourg

The closing team at the restaurant on March 2nd was absolutely superb, very friendly and kind; it's a pleasure to be welcomed as warmly as in a regular restaurant.

I would like to emphasize Khadija's professionalism throughout our collaboration. She demonstrated seriousness, dedication, and great rigor in her work. Her organizational skills and responsiveness were particularly appreciated. I highly recommend her for the quality of her work and her commitment.

Still so many choices, it's a shame there aren't any more cashiers (not easy when you're not comfortable with self-checkout) 🤔 I prefer human interaction!!!

I would like to commend the two delivery drivers from Charl'antoine Hamid and Badour. Following an order of three Pax wardrobes, the delivery went very smoothly; the drivers were very professional and friendly. A big thank you to them for their service. I highly recommend them.

I ordered some cabinets, but one door and some shelves were damaged. I contacted customer service. I received excellent service; they replaced the door and delivered the shelves. They treated me well and even offered a small compensation – we appreciated it, thank you.

I wanted to share my thoughts on the IKEA canteen; it's always a pleasure to eat there. They have all the classic dishes and a few new ones throughout the year, which adds a welcome variety. The restaurant is clean, and sauces and water are readily available. Finally, it's very inexpensive compared to fast-food chains, for example. I highly recommend this IKEA canteen in Strasbourg!

I'm disappointed that the majority of the staff, both in customer service and at the restaurant I dealt with yesterday, lacked friendliness. Many employees gave me the impression that I was bothering them or that they weren't paid to be customer-focused. Two years ago, when I bought a kitchen, I felt that the staff in the kitchen department, who are supposed to help customers design their kitchens and then place their orders, weren't making any effort. It took four visits in total and repeated insistence to get help, and on top of that, it turned out that mistakes had been made in my order, which required an additional delivery. I haven't been back since. Now that I have a problem with a kitchen appliance I bought specifically for it, I'm supposed to figure it out myself and find the brand and the repair company to call (supposedly there's a label under the cooktop)... It's a shame because I love browsing the aisles of IKEA, which I've known for a very long time since I lived in Sweden when there weren't any IKEA stores in France. And in Sweden, not just at IKEA, it's normal to be friendly to customers!

The store is always nice, clean, and tidy, which makes you want to spend money ;) However, a major drawback was the salesperson at the sideboard section. He was completely unfriendly, very cold, and made me feel like I was bothering them. He had a blasé attitude—in short, everything a customer could want. As a result, I cut my shopping short. I had bought a sideboard, and I was hoping to get a table and entryway furniture, maybe even more, but he just made me want to leave the store. I usually hate complaining, but this person shouldn't be in contact with customers.
