Ikko Ramen sur Nice

A warm welcome every time we go! The ramen is spectacular and incredibly tasty. I haven't tasted (and don't want to 🤪) such delicious ramen.

Best ramen in the 06 region by far! Everyone is happy to share this incredibly well-prepared and high-quality cuisine!

The broth is amazing: so savory, rich, fatty, and full of umami. You can immediately smell the aroma of meat that has been stewed for a very long time, and the meat itself is tender and high quality. The noodles are also very good. Considering the location in Old Town Nice, the portion size and quality are very affordable for the price. There was a queue, but we got in after only 5–10 minutes. The dishes arrived quickly as well, with about a 5-minute wait. A must-visit!

One of the best ramen I've had in Nice! The karaage and desserts are also excellent. The service is as friendly as ever. A huge thank you to the chefs for this delicious meal, as well as to the entire team of servers who so kindly celebrated my son's birthday 🥳 and for the unexpected gift. The ramen is nice but it doesn’t make me think this is a “wow ramen” considering we have to queue more than an hour outside as we don’t have reservations

A truly unmissable address for lovers of authentic Japanese cuisine. We ate there a year ago, and the memory is still vivid: this is clearly authentic. The ramen is perfectly balanced, with deep, flavorful broths, expertly prepared noodles, and high-quality ingredients. You immediately recognize the true flavors of Japan, far removed from the imitations you sometimes encounter elsewhere. In fact, many customers speak of the "best ramen in Nice" and an experience that "recalls Japan." The whole experience is cohesive, masterful, and uncompromising: each element has its place, without any haphazard combinations, resulting in a genuine culinary identity. The service is warm and efficient, and the ambiance, while simple, contributes to this immersive experience. Admittedly, there might be a bit of a wait—a testament to its popularity—but it's more than justified by the quality of the food. An address that we recommend without hesitation, and to which we gladly return.

Ikko ramen was so exceptional that I went back again for it on my last night in Nice. I had Aburi ramen both times; the broth was rich, deeply savoury and umami, with hints of pepper. I upgraded to the XL version on my second visit, and was expecting only additional noodle, but even the toppings were generous. I relished every single bit of it. It truly transported me back to having ramen in Japan.

Excellent! The chicken gyozas are perfect, with a special mention for the spicy lamb gyozas: a delight. The ramen is very good and full of flavor. The only downside, and the reason I'm not giving it 5 stars, is that there are no alternatives to pork, apart from the vegetarian option. A beef or chicken ramen, for example, would be nice!
