The pizzas were good, but the meat ones lacked toppings. The dining room is pleasant, but quickly becomes crowded and the heat is stifling.

Divine food, Great welcome. Sometimes a little long because there are lots of people but the staff are always smiling and very pleasant. And then sometimes you have to know how to wait to enjoy yourself 😉

Probably one of my favorite restaurants. When I have a meeting with someone, or I want to organize a dinner somewhere, I always choose Il Carretino. The atmosphere is good with very welcoming waiters and waitresses, smiling, etc. And above all, we eat very well there! I have never found a restaurant with better pizza. Here the dough is soft but thin without being too dry, the portions are generous and everything is really well done. The desserts as well as the starters are also very pleasant and will delight your palates. In short, if you are looking for the best place around Châteauroux to eat Italian, go to Il Carretino!
