Excellent food. The service was friendly, although communication with the servers was sometimes difficult. They didn't always understand, but they compensated with their unfailing availability and helpfulness.

I had been very satisfied with this restaurant until now, but my last experience was disappointing. The waiter was particularly unfriendly and seemed to barely understand French. We felt that our presence annoyed him, especially when it came time to pay (there were four of us, and we paid separately). No friendliness, no smile, just the feeling that we were bothering him. It's a shame, because the place and the food had been quite good until now, but the quality of service is clearly declining. Let's hope it improves soon, because the customers deserve better.

The setting is magnificent and the quality of the food is excellent: the flavors are truly superb. The atmosphere and the live music during the themed evenings are fantastic and really enhance the experience.
However, there was a slight drawback regarding the drinks service: the wait was far too long, the main courses arrived before the aperitif, the wine... It's a shame, because it's always more enjoyable to savor your meal with a drink.

A lovely Italian restaurant at 25 Quai des Bateliers, La Wantzenau, opposite the Ill River and the forest.
A large outdoor terrace welcomes you before you enter the spacious dining room. White is the dominant color, and the tablecloths are also white.
A warm welcome and generously sized tables. Good quality cuisine and prices.

A mixed experience.
The setting was sleek and refined, the dishes were well-prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
However, the service was disorganized during our visit.
The waiter didn't speak French, nor did he know the wine list!
We ordered a four-course menu, and during the service, the waiter seemed to get confused between the first courses, the main courses, and the appetizers...
And what about the time spent there:
Arrival 12:20 PM
Aperitif served 1:10 PM
First course 2:00 PM
Leaved the restaurant after 4:00 PM
It's a shame, because with smoother service, the experience could have been much better.

A perfect experience from start to finish: a warm welcome, impeccable service, and dishes as beautiful as they were delicious. The dining rooms are superb, with an intimate and elegant atmosphere.
