Great food and excellent prices. We were 3 and with 2 plates we had plenty of food. Meat tortellini in carbonara sauce highly recommended.

In a flood of expensive restaurants, this is an absolute paradise. Excellent pasta, great prices, quickly prepared and friendly service. No wonder there was a queue of locals, which is always a sign that it's going to be good and for good money. Thanks, if we go to Paris again, I will stop here for a meal.

We have been through Paris and we went to eat at this restaurant, the truth is it is very good and the addition is that the lady who serves is Spanish, the pasta is very good I recommend it

Food was ok, the bolognese sauce was average but the pasta was good. On the plus side it was a cheap and quick meal and the service was great!

Discovered IL Timo quite by accident while walking around the neighborhood last week. Stopped in for fresh pasta with carbonara sauce along with a drink and dessert (Tiramasu) that were part of a combo offering. The staff were extremely helpful, noting immediately that English was our first language and explaining the ordering process. Service was quick and the delicious results were quickly on our table (there is a cozy eat-in area). Today we walked 20 minutes out of our way to visit IL TOMO again. Needless to say we enjoyed our visit again.

L'Assaggio at Hotel Castille

22/12/2025: Invited for a cocktail party, I received a very warm welcome. The venue is chic and beautiful, with a cozy, intimate, and inviting atmosphere. The food was excellent and of high quality. Bonus points for the pianist. I highly recommend it.

06/11/2025: A lovely discovery this lunchtime on Rue de Tocqueville in the 17th arrondissement, less than 5 minutes from the office, thanks to a colleague during a business trip to Paris! A tiny Italian takeaway shop, absolutely fantastic, run by a very friendly Italian couple. I would describe this place as a "pasta bar," offering a variety of pasta dishes, each more tempting than the last. The service was excellent, with quick, warm, and smiling service despite the crowds. The portions are generous, and the pasta is more than excellent! Very good value for money in the 17th arrondissement. I will definitely return on my next trip to the 17th, if only to discover/try a new pasta dish, because I thoroughly enjoyed my choice of the day... despite my current lack of appetite... but I ate it all without even realizing it, and my stomach was more than satisfied and... is still asking for more, lol!
