Kudos to the Vesuvio in Annemasse, where we've never been disappointed and which we highly recommend, unlike the one in Douvaine.

The usual quality wasn't there.
The tableware wasn't great.
We asked for a salad without avocado, but it arrived with it. We pointed it out. The plate came back; they had simply removed the avocado pieces instead of remaking it. So, if you're allergic, there are still traces of avocado throughout the dish. It's not ideal.

The food was very good, however the service was nonexistent. We had to call them to place our order, and the same for drinks, main courses, desserts, and digestifs, resulting in an interminable wait. We weren't in a hurry, but there are limits. It was very, very noisy. What a shame, we won't be back.
