It's a restaurant with superb cuisine...the staff at the tables even spoke Italian and immediately put us at ease. We dined there two nights in a row and the food was beyond excellent. If you're in Cannes, it's highly recommended, especially because the chef cooks wonderfully and you eat outside in a very charming square!

Very nice little restaurant with great food.
Not too expensive and price is definitely worth it. Really authentic place and staff also are real Italian people. Service and location are also great.
If we come back to Cannes we will definitely stop by Il Viaggio again.

Excellent place. Arriving at 2:30 pm, just as service was ending, we enjoyed pasta carbonara and ravioli of very high quality. The desserts were also very good, especially the pistachio crunch. The staff is very helpful and responsive. The outdoor terrace is pleasant and quiet, located just behind Rue d'Antibes.

I stopped by for a coffee, and the place is really lovely! Thanks to the wonderful waiter, who was attentive throughout. I also had the chance to observe their service, and they truly go the extra mile for each of their customers.
I highly recommend it!

Excellent family dinner at Il Viaggio. The carbonara was rich and delicious, the risotto perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and high-quality ingredients. A wonderful Italian restaurant in Cannes that we would happily visit again.

We chose Il Viaggio based on numerous good reviews. Unfortunately I cannot rate it as highly as others. Foodwise my wife's gnocchi was very good. The chicken Caesar salad very good also. I ordered lamb chops which were quite underwhelming. The lamb was overcooked dry and lacking any flavour and the shredded vegitables also overcooked and very oily. Service was actually very good untill the time to pay, when the waiter blatantly pushed for a tip to be added to the credit card bill explaing that it was customary in US and Germany to add a tip, obviously profiling us. We have travelled enough in Europe to understand tipping. This really soured our evening. So we will not be visiting again this trip.
