Okay. But not wow... Quick service but a lukewarm welcome... I was returning on a pilgrimage to this establishment that I had loved when I still lived in Troyes... But unlike Proust's madeleines, the flavor of yesteryear wasn't there...

Excellent food and, above all, very good service from Angélique, whom I thank again for her kindness and professionalism.

New Year's Eve package €89 Group of 23 people Booking, contact, and organization were good. Seating wasn't great and wasn't practical (those by the banquettes were completely cramped, having to "move" to use the restrooms, go dancing, or smoke)... but we were warned. The meal was very poorly organized. The aperitif arrived on its own, we were told that a planned amuse-bouche wouldn't be served (we weren't given a reason), then it magically appeared, but the antipasti arrived only after we had finished our drinks. The main courses arrived cold or undercooked (rice). The rest of the meal went a little better. There was no planning; bread arrived after the cheese, and sugar after the coffee. Nice fireworks display. The DJ had good music, people were dancing in a small space, but it ended at 2 am. The icing on the cake was the bill; we were accused of not paying everything when it turned out to be a counting error and a lack of organization... In short, an experience not to be repeated, and a lack of professionalism that will stay with us.

We arrived at 1 p.m. as planned, but weren't served until after 2 p.m., which was a very long wait, especially for the children. The waitress made a few unpleasant remarks. One child was accused of lying, and I dared to tell the waitress that it wasn't warm in the restaurant. I had to keep my coat on the whole meal, and I wasn't the only one. She told me to have a couple of drinks, that it would warm me up. Yet she told me she had turned on the heat a little. It's true that on December 24th, the wind was icy; it wasn't just a little bit of heat that was needed, but much more. Overall, the meals were good, except for one small disappointment: the pasta wasn't hot enough.

Not one to leave negative reviews, but the wait was incredibly long (2 hours and 40 minutes from ordering to the end of the meal...). The waiter did his best to compensate for the kitchen's shortcomings, but he forgot to bring the bread and Parmesan, even though he was the one who offered them. The pasta dish was overcooked (left on the warming plate too long?) and cold on the outside. As for the mashed potatoes, they were more like pancakes. The mango on the dessert was tasteless. The menu descriptions, "Buon Natale," sounded pretentious, but the dishes were ultimately very disappointing. What a shame... I don't think I'll be back.

On our return from our trip, we stopped at Il Ristorante because we were familiar with the restaurant. We received a very warm welcome and the portions were generous; we're never disappointed. Best of luck to the whole team!

We went for lunch as a couple on November 19, 2025, and were able to use the Smartbox voucher that included the restaurant. Excellent welcome and service, very good food and wines. A must-try for those who haven't been!

An excellent lunch at IL RISTORANTE! We had a wonderful time at lunchtime. The dishes were delicious, served quickly and with great care. A big thank you to Marc H, our server, who was perfect from start to finish: smiling, attentive, and very professional. Thanks to him, our lunch break was truly enjoyable.

A very pleasant place, excellent service, and qualified staff! We came with a young child, and the waiter was incredibly attentive to our little one, so we were very, very satisfied! I highly recommend this restaurant, whether it's on the small terrace in the summer or inside in the winter! Good food and good wines!
