My experience at the Chamois d’Or hotel in Cordon, France, was simply wonderful. It’s a beautiful and welcoming place, full of little touches that make you feel at home from the very first moment. Every space in the hotel exudes warmth and care. The food is delicious, and you can taste the dedication in every dish. During our stay, we were in the suite, which has a large balcony with a spectacular view of the Alps. Waking up to that view every morning was truly unforgettable. The hotel owner, Caroline, was incredibly kind and attentive. They made me feel welcome, as if I were in my own home. It was my first time in this region and also my first time skiing, and the entire hotel team made the experience very enjoyable, easy, and special. They are always attentive to even the smallest detail. One of the most magical moments of my stay happened when Caroline, knowing it was my first time in the region, called my room one evening to let me know that from my balcony I could see the moon rising behind the Alps. I went out onto the balcony, and it was a truly magical moment thanks to her. Overall, my experience exceeded all my expectations. It was definitely a very special stay, and I can't wait to return next ski season and stay with them again.

I came solely for the spa, and overall, the experience was satisfactory. The spa is open from 3 pm, and reservations are required: €20 for 1 hour. The welcome was excellent; upon arrival, the hostess provided a bathrobe, towel, and slippers. There aren't proper changing rooms, but rather a cabin specifically for massages. Access to a whirlpool, sauna, and steam room is available. Unfortunately, not all the jets in the whirlpool were working, and the steam room wasn't hot enough. Relaxing music would have been a nice touch.

Had the best time here! As a beginner skier this hotel & location was great. Hotel was in a great spot, clean rooms - had everything you really needed. Loved the fur doors! The bar is a great spot to chill in the evening with everyone, very casual and a homely feel. Breakfast was always so delicious, have great choices on menu. The spa offered all the basic amenities and was perfectly fine, but a modern update would make the experience better. All the staff were so lovely & helpful on every occasion. So handy having a ski room within the hotel & we found the rental equipment great & got on well with everything. The hotel is located a short walking distance to the gondola which is super handy. Such a great trip! Would definitely recommend this hotel as had a very family friendly feel! Thanks for a great stay :)

Had the best time here. Rooms are lovely and the service is amazing. The team on reception go above and beyond and the breakfast is incredible. There’s a really nice vibe in the bar in the evenings where you’ll often find some ex-pats who are great company and loads of fun. There’s ski hire on site with the lovely Matt and there’s a nice little spa which I got to enjoy a couple of times. The hotel is ideally located, a short walk to the slopes and surrounded by nice restaurants. I’d definitely go back.

Really nice hotel in a great village. If it’s having good snow this is probably ski in but when we were there it was a short walk to the lifts. The town of Les Gets is amazing and adds some culture to your ski trip. The ski fields are huge. The hotel is very comfortable and clean and the gear storage system is very convenient.
