What can I say about this izakaya restaurant… A gem in Toulouse, a culinary haven celebrating Japan! The meal was delicious, the service was top-notch, with smiles all around, and the sake menu was perfect—I ordered it warm, and it was a real treat. I highly recommend it! ❤️

An excellent experience at Le IORI in Toulouse. I was captivated by the omakase sushi, remarkably fresh and beautifully presented. Our waiter, Kenji, guided us with passion through our choices. The minimalist Japanese decor, elegant and soothing, enhances the immersive experience. Every detail is meticulously attended to, from the service to the presentation of the food. A must-visit for lovers of refined and authentic Japanese cuisine.

Discovered while strolling during my lunch break, I had ramen and gyoza for lunch one day and it was truly excellent! The gyoza were cooked perfectly and the ramen was well-seasoned. The place is also lovely, with soft, calming lighting. I highly recommend it!

28/08/2026: So, it's good, even very good in some cases (the Périgord pork skewers were delicious). There's no doubt that everything is homemade. Everything is extremely fresh. Which brings me to the main issue: the chef is alone in the kitchen and the dining room, so you'd better not be in a hurry! One starter, one main course, 2.5 hours. Okay, we hadn't made a reservation, but there were only two other people when we arrived at 7:30 pm! The dining room is a bit dated (paint with drips, light fixtures coming loose from the ceiling). As for the prices, €8 for miso soup, €17 for three skewers with white rice—I'll let you be the judge.
21/08/2026: An authentic Japanese restaurant with handmade maki rolls at very reasonable prices. The chef was attentive and very funny. We had lunch on the small terrace at the back of the restaurant, surrounded by greenery and koi ponds. I highly recommend it.

13/08/2026: A fantastic place! 🍣 At Makesuchi, the food is truly excellent, the welcome is warm, and the atmosphere is super pleasant. We enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end! The sushi was so good that I almost ordered a second helping… and my stomach said yes 😂. A friendly team, a great atmosphere, and above all, delicious food. I highly recommend it, but not for too long, or you'll miss out on the sushi! 😋🍣
