Irish Pub The Quay sur Castres

An incredible atmosphere, VERY tasty tastous, the best thing for a pub.

The only pub worthy of the name in the city of Castres. Taking a detour here is like getting a little lost. And that's exactly what you're looking for... The interior is very pleasant, the decor tasteful, it's large but divided into several nice areas. The outdoor terrace is a bit secluded and quiet. The waiters and waitresses are perfectly in tune with the atmosphere. An eclectic beer selection. The Castel Brune at 11% ABV... is one you appreciate from the first sip, and what follows is an invitation to lean back, to settle in, to linger, like a passerby accompanied by a situation that is, in this case, both persistent and opportune... But enough of this hoppy chatter, we all know who's responsible! Some rums are excellent, but the rule is immutable and you do not mix spirits, under penalty of... more or less immediate sanctions.

I personally recommend their cider! Served in a beer glass, the illusion is quite amusing! It's very good, I highly recommend it. The food is good too, and there's a good variety! Great!

Great evening with Irish musicians. Very good selection of beers. The restaurant offers excellent Guinness beef.

I'm just here a couple of weeks a year and I never had such good service. Congrats to the service team, always welcoming and with a smile. I can see why this place get such a good reputation here. Kuddos to you!

We came for lunch and found the atmosphere very quiet, perhaps too quiet. However, the quality of the food and the waitress's cheerfulness more than made up for it!
