Island Poké, Montpellier sur Montpellier

My first impression of the cafe was great! Young, cozy, relaxed. Good music and the coffee too. Vegan options, all good. Friendly staff. Maybe a bit cramped, but that can also be part of its charm. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the food. The bread with tomato was a tiny slice, paper-thin, for €6. I had definitely expected something different for that price. It was gone after two bites. That was a real disappointment; I would have gladly given the cafe 5 stars otherwise, but that was just outrageous :(

I'm updating my review in March, as it's something I should do regularly. The Coffee Club remains my favorite place in Montpellier to relax, enjoy a great coffee or an oat milk latte. There's always a good musical atmosphere, a warm welcome, and people to chat with. In short, one of the best spots in Montpellier where you feel right at home.

Best coffee and matcha in Montpellier

I went to the Coffee Club for the Green Giant juice (apple, ginger, lime, spirulina, kiwi), and it was delicious! I am a ginger lover, and the juice was made with the perfect amount of ginger. I went the last Friday in January and it was such a beautiful day to sit outside, sip my green juice, and enjoy just enjoy the moment. It was wonderful; I think about that day a lot, I can’t wait to go back! :)

Excellent independent coffee shop in the middle of an active area. A well deserved break from walking around. The granola bowl is great, but the filter coffee on this shop is to die for. Amazing!

This is my favorite, most-visited coffee shop in Montpellier. I go hear at least once, most days. The staff are SO friendly to me and my dogs, the coffee is excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming and convivial - I've made several friends here that started out as conversations with the person at the next table. It is small but the coziness seems to bring out the best in the customers and the staff. Five stars all the way!
