A wonderful experience at Ivan Vautier's. We had a Smartbox voucher and were warmly welcomed with a delicious surprise menu. I highly recommend it. The fish was a particular highlight. Absolutely delicious.

Dining at this one-Michelin-starred restaurant is truly exceptional. The decor is modern yet tasteful, and the dining room is divided into several smaller areas, which is very pleasant for a quiet meal. Ivan's menu surprised us with its appetizers and desserts, while the main courses were more traditional. Excellent, with perfect portions. The view into the kitchen is very appealing. You can watch the dishes being plated before they're sent out. It's quite rare to have an open kitchen in Michelin-starred restaurants. Special mention goes to one of the young waiters (who has a goatee and glasses). With each dish presentation, he transported us to another world. He had an excellent knowledge of the menu and wines. The only slight drawback was that the waiters and one of the receptionists were wearing sneakers and rather unsophisticated suits. Some of them even had very clean shoes. Regarding the hotel, the welcome was pleasant, but nothing more than what we've experienced at other hotels we've stayed in. Breakfast offered very fresh products and a good selection. Our room was very clean and spacious, and the little touch of caramels was a nice touch. Oh, and the room was very, very quiet despite the road right in front. A restaurant and hotel well worth a visit, where tranquility reigns.

Excellent lunch experience at Restaurant Ivan Vautier. The €52 lunch menu was honestly impressive for the level of cuisine, presentation, and service. Every dish felt refined but still generous and comforting in that very French way. The asparagus velouté with perfectly cooked egg was delicate and full of flavor, the fish was beautifully cooked, and the desserts were outstanding — especially the Saint-Honoré inspired creation with Normandy apple, salted butter caramel, and cider notes. Even the petits fours at the end were memorable. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, service was polished and warm throughout, and you can tell there is real attention to detail in every part of the experience. A fantastic stop in Caen and absolutely worth it if you appreciate refined French cuisine without unnecessary fuss.

Family lunch with our children. The restaurant has a hushed and contemporary atmosphere, and the service is efficient and discreet. The food is good and well-executed, but it didn't quite live up to the expectations or surprises we had anticipated from a Michelin-starred restaurant.

A truly wonderful culinary experience in an idyllic setting. A very warm welcome. I was particularly surprised by the subtlety of the amuse-bouche and the cold appetizers. It was flawless and I'll definitely be back.
