Delicious food and excellent, quick service. We got the poisson braisé with alloko which was perfectly seasoned, morue fritters, and a plate of spicy pickled vegetables dressed with turmeric and it was all so tasty.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, the owner (I think) took the time to explain the menu to me and my partner and gave us recommendations. Very cute decor and delicious food, especially the plantain

Wow! Me and my friends came here and we were blown away by the food! We all ordered the fried fish and wow! That was incredible, some of the best fish I have ever had! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMING AND HAVING IT! also mama is the nicest and most welcoming ladies, we sat outside and had the best time and we were looked after so well. What a meal, what a night. We will remember this one and be back NEXT TIME. Thank you mama

Really great! The portions were so generous we were able to take home containers because our plates were so full! A wonderful discovery!

This food was the best I had in Marseille hands down. I had the jollof rice (the best i’ve ever had in general) and fish, and my partner had a whole grilled fish with rice and plantain. We loved it so much and thought the service was great! Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in Marseille.

Absolutely delicious, it's truly excellent! I highly recommend the mafe and the thieb, they were incredibly good. Go for it without hesitation, it's super delicious!

03/09/2026: This place was disappointing. Long wait for food. Starter was very mediocre. Mains were OK, but nothing special. Location was nice enough but lots of street beggars coming by. La Teranga, another Senegalese place not too far away was much better and worth walking over to if you are not based nearby. Location definitely not as good but the food was significantly better. Fish was beautifully cooked and service much quicker. They also served some chilli paste on the side which this place were missing.
27/08/2026: The food was plentiful and the bissap was good, although slightly too sweet for me. The major drawback was the wait for the food, over 30-40 minutes, which detracted from the overall experience.
