Jadis et Gourmande sur Colmar

We were able to try Balaskas, a specialty I wasn't familiar with. I had my doubts, but my 3-year-old son also had a children's menu (basic, but he thoroughly enjoyed the homemade fries and two sausages). We were quite full, and regretfully didn't try the desserts, which looked delicious!

What a hidden gem! It is easy to walk past without noticing the restaurant, but inside lies a wonderful courtyard for outdoor dining. This cozy spot is loved by locals—we were the only tourists—and the traditional regional food was fantastic. I had the classic Quiche Lorraine, and my partner had the vegetarian quiche. Both came with a fresh, crisp side salad dressed to perfection. The service was warm and amazing!"

Excellent restaurant with a nice, simple menu. The food portions are large and very high quality, I can recommend the steak or chicken salad. The staff were excellent too.

In just one week, this is the best restaurant in Colmar for me! The portions are generous, and you can enjoy a delicious meal without feeling heavy, just full of joy. The "Papa's Pie" is delicious with the side of grated carrots and celery. I should mention that I don't usually like celery... but their seasoning made me actually enjoy it! Amazing! I took four bites without even trying! Well done to the kitchen staff! And the rhubarb tart... 🥰😍 Oh my goodness, I've never tasted such a generous and beautiful tart! If I come back to Colmar, there's no question. I'm coming back here!!! Even if it means eating alone! I'm leaving my friends behind! 😋 Thank you to the warm and attentive service! Very kind staff! Had lunch there today had to wait for a table but not long and it was well worth it The food was amazing including the dessert’s would highly recommended this place and would definitely love to go back 5 stars all round
