Jazz Club Meridien Etoile sur Paris

Institutional club since 1974 the greatest Jazzman have passed there, Hampton, Cab Calloway, Count Basie orchestra...etc....30 years of my professional life....we must continue.

Thanks to the Principles of Joy group we had a very nice evening. The music was great and the band members created a great atmosphere. As for the room, the general atmosphere is pleasant but the prices are much too high. Access fees are €15 per person. If you want to have a cocktail, count on at least €23 whereas a month ago they were €18 (verifiable on their Instagram account). As for the chef's platter at €39 or the Caesar salad at €24, the portions are ridiculous and the quantity of iceberg salad does not justify the price. The waiter was not only incompetent but he was not pleasant either.

What a pleasant moment and full of good vibes this evening. We went to the Saturday Night club with the Comme Chien et Cha troupe and we had a wonderful evening. They really knew how to set the mood and raise the temperature to a crescendo. The Jazz Club selects excellent musicians. The table service was perfect, the whole team is pleasant and will do everything they can to ensure you have a good time. You can feel the premium service of the hotel. In terms of food, the meal tray at €39 includes two small starters, a dish of the day (Duck Parmentier) and a dessert. The portions were perfect in my opinion. The cocktails at €14 are also well executed. Access is also very simple from central Paris: line 1 to Porte Maillot.

We are a regular at the club, enjoyed the Da Break gig yesterday, was fantastic. A very hospitable team is welcoming you, service is friendly and efficient. Da Break was such a fantastic experience, high energy band, super tight set, enormous energy, they dig!! We are from "out of town" and when visiting Paris always making an effort to spend the Saturday night at Etoile. Thumbs Up, super vibe, again memorable evening. Just one comment, and actually a sincere request for management - please please update the Menu. Last time we had the steak tartare, it was really sub-par (I am polite). This time we ordered the Fish and Chips - remember we are in the culinary capital of the world - in leading hotel with I am sure the best of chefs. Then: the fish part of the F&C was a triangle shape - straight out of the super market freezer affair.... The C element, a run of the mill straight out of a plastic bag... Please, no problem to pay a bit more - get some good food on the table, thanks! We will be back - no worries!!

Comme d’habitude c’était génial. Nous avons eu la chance d’écouter Fred Wesley. La nourriture est très bonne et le service impeccable.
