We had a very good meal.
The tuna, cooked rare to my liking, was a real treat.
Good, friendly, and pleasant service.
Just one small complaint... the bread.
This establishment deserves better bread, simply for the pleasure of dipping.

Very stuffy and expensive restaurant.
It's a shame because the food was very good, but the service was mediocre. The severe staff shortage was clearly evident: aperitifs arrived halfway through the course, there was no water, and the waiters were running around everywhere... not to mention that other tables were served before us even though we had arrived well before. Apparently, some tables are more valuable than others. Unprofessional. We won't be back!

The restaurant offered three New Year's Eve menus, all equally enticing on paper.
We tried the seafood menu and the tasting menu.
Overall, everything was decent, but we were rather disappointed in a few areas.
For a restaurant specializing in fish, and considering the price, it was surprising to be served overcooked shrimp and monkfish. The fish was rubbery, which was a real shame.
We also felt there was a lack of staff: the service was disjointed.
The cocktails were excellent.
The staff was friendly.

Year-end lunch on a Wednesday.
There were 10 of us (with a reservation), and it was a bad experience this time. We had to demand the waiter's attention to take our orders for appetizers, then our main courses, and insist on getting drinks. Finally, we waited over 45 minutes before being served.
I was disappointed. Jols was a place where I used to have a great time, with attentive waiters and quality food.
I'll try again another time; perhaps it was just an off day…

Excellent seafood restaurant. Very professional service, nautical decor, but it could use some background music to match the sea theme…
The dishes were very well prepared: one meat option, one vegetarian option, and all the rest were fish and seafood. Large parking lot.
I recommend it.
