This is my second visit, and both times I've been delighted. The place is very welcoming; the view upstairs, overlooking the abbey's bell tower, is fantastic. The service is truly pleasant and quick. The galettes are excellent, the menu is high-quality, and the ingredients are fresh and local… I highly recommend it!

L'hydropathe

11/10/2026: A fantastic spot right in the heart of Caen! 🔥 L’Hydropathe ticks all the boxes: stylish decor, a warm and friendly atmosphere, fast and efficient service, and genuinely friendly staff. The food is a delight: delicious dishes, generous portions, and very reasonable prices. In short, you eat well, receive a warm welcome, and have a wonderful time without breaking the bank. A restaurant that's definitely worth a visit; I recommend it 100%!

La Tomette

11/10/2026: We stumbled upon this place and received a very warm welcome. The dishes are beautifully prepared, and even a simple steak tartare or smash burger becomes divine. Every ingredient is carefully selected. All this was accompanied by a good wine. I highly recommend this restaurant; we had a wonderful time. Thanks, Norbert! 😊😂😂
30/09/2026: A warm welcome Delicious food Friendly atmosphere A reasonable bill The 4 Aces of fine dining...there are still real restaurants in this country. And that's a good thing. The disciples of Auguste Escoffier should award them both sashes... The "Master Restaurateur" label would also be well deserved.
