No, this restaurant isn't "Jour et Nuit" anymore, which I didn't know. Now it's "El Walima," with beautiful decor and, above all, delicious food, Masha'Allah. The kebabs 🍢 are cooked fresh on-site over a wood fire, served with salads and sides. The rice is very good, as are the sautéed potatoes and the minced meat sandwiches—amazing, but a bit pricey (€3). The service was a little disorganized; there was no menu and prices weren't displayed, so it felt a bit unprepared. Perhaps they've just opened, but the staff is very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Paris ❤️. Maybe they'll improve things. Oh yes, I almost forgot the harira soup—so good, Masha'Allah! 👍🏻

13/09/2026: I had the Tacos with beef, and they were really tasty. I was so happy to find a halal Mexican restaurant which is usually very rare these days. The owner and waiter/cook were both really nice and attentive. I would come again next time I am in Paris.

05/07/2026: The hotel room was nice but the air conditioner didn’t cool the room until the sun went down. Great location and the Wi-Fi worked well. Received 10MB download speeds, which is rare for large hotels.
10/06/2026: The breakfast was lacking but the service was incredible throughout my one week stay. The bellman Kela (sp?) greeted me the moment I stepped out of my taxi and gave me the warmest goodbye on my way out. It was so fantastic seeing his warm smile as I headed out daily. The room was cleaned and well stocked every day. The view from the gym was amazing!The breakfast was lacking but the service was incredible throughout my one week stay.
