Jules and John, the place to be! Since they opened in Boé, it's always been my go-to spot, my reliable, high-quality fast food. They make good, fresh, non-industrial burgers, and they offer the option (which I've been using for a long time) to build your own burger from a variety of choices. We watch them assemble the ingredients right before our eyes, creating what will later delight our taste buds. The prices are reasonable, although the prices of extras, for example, have certainly increased, and the smaller quantities of some items are also unfortunately regrettable (like only two chicken tenders in a burger instead of the three that used to be a staple for years and at least filled the bun, less cheese sauce...). But hey, they add a little something, it's true, but we always enjoy our food and we're never hungry afterward, unlike all those impersonal places. A few years ago, without those two small points, I would have given it a perfect score. But it will always be my favorite "fast burger place," I just go much less regularly. I used to go very, very often. However, I have a strong preference for Boé, even though Jules et John remains J&J. As someone who's been a regular for years, I can taste the difference in my burger and other little things. One thing to watch out for is the number of items on the order, especially when, like me, you add a lot of extras and cheese. This prevents you from ending up with missing items, as has happened to me several times. I try to discreetly pay attention to this during preparation when possible, while trying not to come across as a "difficult" customer because I know the staff is working hard and sometimes has limited time. In any case, adults or children who finally want to eat real burgers, this is the place for you. Also, to add one last thing, the cheesy fries are just great, a fantastic idea, and if you have a little craving for something sweet to finish, I recommend the red fruit panna cotta for example.
