For Americans seeking something different from the (amazing) French restaurants in the area, we found Kampai to be equally amazing and a nice break from the ordinary. The cocktails were excellent, the miso soup, edamame and gyoza apps were great, and the variety of rolls were incredible. 10/10 would go back again.

The food is very good, no complaints there, the ramen paitan is excellent! As for the desserts, the yuzu cheesecake is more like whipped cream mixed with mascarpone and crushed speculoos cookies. But it's not bad. One small drawback is the downstairs restrooms: no light in the first room and no soap, which is a bit disappointing...

Discovered during my studies six years ago, this restaurant continues to charm me with every visit. Whether at this location or the one on Place du Marché, the service is always impeccable. The Paloma yuzu is absolutely divine! And what can I say about the Paroisse skewers and the ramen at Place du Marché… a true delight! The tapas are a treat for the taste buds. Each location has its own unique character, and the experience is well worth the trip. A sure bet that I wholeheartedly recommend, and where I love to take my whole family.

Everything was delicious: the chicken katsu, the sushi, and I especially loved the matcha fondant and the jasmine tea. I'll be back.

I love everything about this restaurant: - the place with its lovely, modern, and welcoming dining room - the consistently friendly service - and especially the food, with delicious ramen 🤤 in a flavorful broth with melt-in-your-mouth meat (the pork is delicious). I highly recommend it!

08/01/2026: Very good, but the prices are a bit excessive: €8 for four steamed dumplings! €24 for a starter and main course or main course and dessert, and all ice cream sundaes are an extra €2 to €3. The dining room gets noisy as soon as it's crowded.
13/12/2025: One of our regular restaurants for years, with flavors and finesse reminiscent of authentic Thailand. However, we have to point out that the portions no longer match the prices, especially for the appetizers... the shrimp salad 😳... there are hardly any on the plate! And then, very recently, I was extremely disappointed with the reception I received over the phone! When I explained that there would be a stroller and that, accompanied by a 77-year-old who is a little unsteady, I would need some help with the stairs because there wouldn't be enough room downstairs, they immediately told me there wouldn't be enough space... -"You two won't be able to manage? Maybe it will be possible if we're not busy..." -"And it will be noisy upstairs anyway."... Okay, let's be clear that babies are not welcome, we went elsewhere. I find the comments and the lack of goodwill shown extremely disappointing, and for that reason alone, I no longer want to come back. And yet, we've been loyal customers for almost 20 years!
