I had a salad and something like a thin-crust pizza. It wasn't surprising, but it was pretty good. Considering the high cost of living in Paris these days, it even felt like a bargain. I wanted to eat outside, but smoking was allowed, so I gave up on that idea.

The food is good and unpretentious, but if you had the illusion of eating fondue or raclette or a tartiflette... forget it. As the name suggests, this place has a lot of cheese, and you can smell it as soon as you walk in 😊. Be sure to check out the daily specials; they have some delicious options. Don't rely 100% on the online menu, as it's seasonal. The service is friendly and efficient. Seating is a bit cramped, as they use every available space.

This restaurant was our first stop upon arriving in Eguisheim and our last before leaving. By far the best restaurant we had the pleasure of visiting, enjoying an excellent meal every time. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food is simply superb. The best tarte flambée in the village, without a doubt!

We ate at this restaurant and loved both the food and the service. So much so, that we went back a second time during our trip. We highly recommend it. The Kas gratin was incredible.
