Excellent daily special, top-notch service. We had a wonderful meal.

For my first meal on a terrace in Aix-en-Provence during my stay, the daily special was a real treat. The service was quick and efficient, and the atmosphere was pleasant in the middle of a small square. I highly recommend it.

The setting is charming because of the square and welcoming thanks to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, who are able to relate to tourists even though the clientele is predominantly French (something not found in other restaurants in the area). The dishes are carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and have a fresh, authentic flavor! It absolutely deserves to be chosen over the other restaurants in the city. A blazing July sun… Yet an excellent lunch under the parasol, welcomed in the best possible way. High-quality cuisine and presentation worthy of Michelin-starred restaurants. Located on a very pretty square, so busy during the Aix festival, this restaurant is a blessing. Thank you to the team.

Hello, There were three of us for lunch on August 4th. We received a very warm welcome. However: - The service was extremely slow: the dishes were advertised as homemade, which is great, but a 45-60 minute wait before our food arrived seems excessive, doesn't it? - We ordered two salads and a veal dish. It was only after this hour-long wait, when our food finally arrived, that I was told they hadn't been able to prepare my veal dish and that they were bringing me beef tartare instead... Well, how can I put it...? I had already specified when ordering that I didn't want tartare and that I wanted veal – the daily special was no longer available. And I think it would have been preferable not to wait an hour only to be told that my dish wasn't available. And above all, they didn't replace it with another dish without asking my opinion... As a result, I ended up not ordering anything and spent the meal watching my wife and daughter eat. To be honest, they did offer to replace my dish with something else, but after all that waiting, I wasn't in the mood anymore, so I politely declined. As for the two salads, they were good, homemade, just like you'd make at home, but nothing exceptional except perhaps the price. Two salads and sparkling water for 55 euros... Okay. I'm giving it a 2.5, the average rating, because despite everything, the staff did what they could to offer solutions, and the salads were okay. Perhaps, just as a gesture, they could have at least offered the sparkling water, right? Well, you get the picture: despite the friendly welcome, I won't be back anytime soon. Or perhaps you should make a reservation and check that the daily special will be available, as it seems to be quite good. Have a good day. Stephane

Delicious restaurant. The prices are a bit high—not for everyone's budget—but the food is worth it. Around €100 for lunch for two. The staff is very helpful, attentive, full of good advice and cheerful. The shaded terrace is very pleasant, quiet, and charming. We'll be back!

I’ve been in Provence for a week and this was by far the best meal I’ve had. She had the roasted chicken & I had the sea bream puttanesca. Absolutely delicious, without pretension, and highly recommended

Dinner on the terrace on a summer evening. The setting is very pleasant. The sea bass tartare and crudo were fresh and flavorful. The service was efficient and particularly attentive. A smile was always present. Excellent evening.
