Returning from Futuroscope, tired, on the evening of a World Cup match where France was playing, we didn't hesitate to stop and buy the special boxes for the occasion! A beautiful, well-filled box, delicious, and for a very reasonable price. 😋😋😋

I paid for 50cl of soda but only received 40cl. The burger was somewhere between cold and lukewarm. There was also a long wait between ordering and getting our tray ready. We were hungry and didn't have much time, but I won't be going back and will try somewhere else. It's a shame because it wouldn't take much to fix these issues...

Chateau du Clos de la Ribaudiere

11/06/2026: Chateau set in a lovely location. We were welcomed at reception and shown to our room. It had a large bed, quaint features and a bathroom with separate toilet. Air-conditioning was great and although it seemed plush we had a few gripes...... When removing the decorative cushions from the bed they were all badly stained and dirty. We had reserved the room for 2 adults however there was only 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel in the bathroom. The shower was totally inadequate as due to the low ceiling it could only go 3ft from the bottom of the bath and impossible to stand under. Breakfast, although pricey, was lovely with plenty of choice.
22/03/2026: A peaceful spot by the water. A truly delightful gourmet meal, even including dishes I wouldn't normally eat. The decor is exquisite. The rooms and bedding are worthy of the hotel's star rating. I highly recommend it. Just 10 minutes from Futuroscope.
