We went one evening during our stay and ordered chicken tenders with sauce to go, but they forgot them, and we only realized it when we got home. We went back two days later to get more tenders, but instead we got wings. I should mention that the place was empty both nights, so it wasn't busy.

I ordered a €10 takeaway box. I asked for mayonnaise (I checked the receipt) and I got three packets of ketchup... I only noticed it once I got home. Another plus: they accept holiday vouchers, so that's great. However, the next day I had a stomach ache all day; I don't know if it was from the food 🤮

30/04/2026: Very prompt, friendly service. Last minute with a large group and it was no problem.
29/04/2026: A fantastic experience at Hippopotamus in Châtelet! The meat was excellent; I ordered a slightly rare steak, and it was perfectly cooked: tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious. I came with my son, and he loved his burger too. The service was friendly and quick, which is always appreciated when you have a child. We even took the rest to go because it was so good! 😄 I'll definitely be back!
