I stayed in the hotel during the Olympics and was extremely pleased with the room for the price, especially during the Olympics! It had a kitchenette and additional big room separate from the bedroom as well as a private bathroom. The owner was very friendly and accommodating with any requests, gave me several beers and coffees and pretzels on the house :) (but i dont want to createan expectation, haha).
The neighborhood -Grandes Carriere was very convenient for walking to montmartre or taking a quick easy train ride into the center.
It was still getting set up so I'm sure on future visits it will get even better!
The beer garden makes a cozy and charming impression. You can either sit at the front of the door, inside at various tables, or like us in the inner courtyard.
There, as well as inside, there was a television showing the Olympics. At our request, the waiter switched to Bundesliga and was accommodating and nice. A huge advantage was of course that the service spoke German, but overall all the employees were very nice and accommodating. We didn't have any food, but the price was reasonable. Drinks were a bit expensive, but you can also get various German beers up to 1l in size.
All in all a nice evening.
We had dinner there after an Olympic day. We sat in a nice courtyard. The staff was very friendly and quick. The schnitzel with homemade fries were super tasty. The whole thing was rounded off with delicious Kölsch. Prices are completely okay. Worth a visit!
