The lunch box 🗃️ is well packed and delicious👍Highly recommend if you like Japanese food.

A great place to eat excellent sushi and maquis, but also some artificially flavored wrappers. The service is impeccable. It's true that it's best to make a reservation for dinner as the restaurant is quite small, especially for two people.

[edit August 2026] The restaurant is now part of a group and has updated its lunch menu to include a mix of bento and izakaya fare, while maintaining the quality and charming service that define it. I found this restaurant when I was feeling lonely during my solo trip. The staff were incredibly kind, and the food tasted just like it did in Japan. It was an experience that made me want to go back someday and thank them in person.

A sushi restaurant (real Japanese), very, very good at a reasonable price!! (The restaurant is small, 4 or 5 tables, if I remember correctly, but perfect for groups of 2-3)

New team at Kimura, but nothing's changed; the atmosphere remains the same. The menu is still centered on sushi, which is well-prepared. It's simple and effective for a small neighborhood Japanese restaurant.
