King Ludwig's Castle sur Chessy

Mixed feelings. My boyfriend and I came here for dinner by chance. The restaurant was already empty, but we still had to wait a good ten minutes to be seated. However, the servers were all very friendly. As for the food, we found it rather ordinary. I thought the prices were very high for the dishes served, such as the mac and cheese. The portion was generous, certainly, but honestly, it didn't really have any flavor. I found it quite bland and expensive. My boyfriend ordered a raclette burger, which was okay, but nothing special. The fries weren't served generously either. Again, given the price (22 euros for the burger, if I remember correctly), we expected better. I also ordered a side salad, which was quite expensive and had a very basic dressing (I love balsamic vinegar, but a vinaigrette is ideal for a salad!). On the other hand, we really liked the building's architecture! And the decor. We're glad we tried it, but we wouldn't go back :) Worth doing though.

Great atmosphere. Fast service. The servers are fantastic and really get into the spirit of things. I happened to see a birthday party at the next table, and I can guarantee you it will be memorable. The beer is also very good. As for the burgers, they're good, but the price isn't justified. The Royal Pub is in the same vein as the "Au Bureau" restaurant chain, but while the quality of the food is respectable, it's not quite at the same level. The €24.90 burger is really worth €17.90... and the €26.90 burger is only worth €22.90. It's a pricing issue... In any case, congratulations on the atmosphere!

We wanted to stop for a snack after leaving the park. It wasn't very crowded, and we were told there would be a 5-minute wait for our waffles. Those 5 minutes turned into a 20-minute wait for cold waffles. We were disappointed. The beers were good. The music was much too loud. As soon as we left, another table came to take ours, hoping for a quieter experience.

Excellent food, great service and good atmosphere

I was in a rush today at around 9:40 pm and needed a quick dessert of their cheesecake and the waitress immediately served the dessert and gave me the check. I loved it and none of my time was wasted.
