The call of the wild. The lure of the unknown. The Anaconda Pasta and waffle fries. These are the things that plague the restless spirit that longs for sporting, swashbuckling adventure. What if I told you that in the deepest, darkest jungle between civilization and nature lies an Eden? I myself doubted it’s existence, for I had been deceived through my internet-based reconnaissance that this particular location would be condemned before my arrival, however by sheer cosmic fortune I was granted passage to a kingdom nearly lost to time. To one accustomed to the stifling pageantry of the modern world the Maître d’Is may have seemed a touch impetuous, but for the journey that lay before me I understood there was a requisite haste and discipline for which some pleasantries must be dispensed with. Hewed from raw, untamed hinterland a cuisine so refined does not emerge without sacrifice. The leaves of my Gochugang Korean Chicken Lettuce Wraps arrived tastefully aged, lending a suppleness reminiscent of the excess skin on one’s elbow. Such culinary subtleties did not escape my perception. As I sunk my teeth into my Creole Macaroni and Cheese I could hear the cicadas singing on the bayou. When my eyelids fell in surrender I sunk deeper into a vision where I became a chompy chompy alligator friend, as something deep within my primordial lizard brain awakened: a sensation both new and as old as time.

The Rainforest Cafe in Disney Village has never been just a restaurant for me. Sure, it's not haute cuisine and the prices are rather high, but I've always been willing to play along for the sheer pleasure of this slightly magical, slightly childlike, and very cinematic escape. Its abundant decorations, animatronic animals, pool, soundtrack, lights… Everything is a bit kitschy, certainly, but that's also part of its charm. It's an anteroom to the park, giving the impression of already being there without having yet passed through the gates, a parenthesis of escape that speaks as much to children as to adults who have retained a part of their childhood. Over the past twenty years, I've had the chance to return several times (six or eight times), and on each trip to Disneyland Paris, this restaurant has become an essential stop. The last meal in November 2025 will certainly remain the most memorable: for the first time, almost all of us were together—grandparents, children, uncles, and aunts—around a large table. The staff's attentiveness and kindness that day particularly touched us. Because beyond the decor, it was also and especially the Cast Members who made the difference. We were always greeted with a smile, kindness, and professionalism, with this ability to create an experience that went far beyond simply serving a meal. It is with great sadness that I learned of the upcoming closure of the Rainforest Cafe. I wanted to leave a message of thanks here to all those who have worked there over the years and who have contributed to creating these magical moments. Thank you for these meals, these family memories, these slightly childlike and surreal moments that so perfectly complemented our stays at Disneyland Paris. You will leave a great void in Disney Village.

What a crazy experience! Every 30 minutes, there's a thunderclap and the jungle comes to life. It's great fun for kids, and even adults should definitely experience it. The atmosphere is fantastic. The two of us shared a large Awesome Appetizer Adventure (even though we were tempted to have a portion of fries too ;-) ). It was still good and saves money if you're a bit more frugal. Then you'll still have room for a nice dessert. Expect waiting times at certain times. Check Google.

We visited Rainforest Café during our trip to Disneyland Paris. Overall, we enjoyed the atmosphere, but unfortunately, the service was quite slow during our visit. We arrived at 7:12 PM and placed our order, but by 7:45 PM, we still hadn’t received our food. What was disappointing was seeing a table next to us, which arrived later than us, receive their food and almost finish eating while we were still waiting. We do appreciate that the staff offered us a complimentary cocktail as an apology for the delay. We thought this was a kind gesture and appreciated that they acknowledged the situation. As a gesture of appreciation, we also left €5 as a tip. Hopefully, the restaurant can improve the service and reduce waiting times in the future. Despite the delay, we appreciated the staff’s effort to make up for the situation.

Great experience for the children

Very nice atmosphere and very good service.

I wanted to try it before it closed. The setting is nice, even if there are better options nowadays in the same theme (e.g., Wonderwoods in Val d'Europe, which is more modern). The prices are typical Disney fare (€19 for a child's menu, €30 for a burger-type meal...). The food is good, but nothing particularly innovative. The service is good. I enjoyed going to this restaurant, but in terms of value for money, it's borderline.
