I visited alone after attending to a relative's family. There was a laundry right next door, so I had dinner while I waited.
The owner was friendly and chatty from the moment I entered. We talked about Tibet and Japan, and he recommended their knife-cut noodles to me. ^_^
The bowl was huge and incredibly filling, with lots of vegetables and noodles in a soy-sauce-based broth. It was absolutely delicious!
When I mentioned that I'd finished my laundry and wanted to take it to the laundry to dry, he said, "Of course!" and even put a plate on top of the bowl to keep it warm. ✨✨
It was a huge portion, but it was perfect for my tired stomach after eating so much Mediterranean food, and I finished the soup right up.
As I finished my beer and was eating, the owner offered me a complimentary glass of red wine!
He commented that the wine wasn't that great, but it was delicious! ✨✨ Thank you very much.
It was a shame I couldn't try the other dishes since I was alone.
There seemed to be more local Parisians dining there than Asians.
I'd definitely like to visit again if I'm in Paris!

The "Kokonor" restaurant is easy to find, and once inside, the decor immediately immerses you in a warm and welcoming Tibetan atmosphere.
The welcome was very pleasant and friendly. There were two of us, and we tried several dishes: vegetarian momos, mutton hot pot, rice, stir-fried noodles with meat and vegetables, not to mention the homemade tea. Everything was truly delicious; we had a wonderful meal.
We had a fantastic time, especially since we were the last customers (wow! 😄). The manager was lovely and kindly told us to take our time, which is always appreciated.
A great place to discover a different cuisine and get off the beaten path.
It's up to you...

A cozy little surprise, makes you wonder if you are really still in Paris. We had the dahl soup, veggie momos, orzo dessert, and their "specialty" tea - all highly recommended. Very aromatic chilli oil as well, we almost spooned through the whole bowl.
We will most definitely return

Make sure you eat at a restaurant every time you come to Paris, as the food is delicious and of excellent quality. The owner is warm and friendly. And the shop stayed open late, which was perfect for me.

Good service, a place with a real atmosphere (but only one CD?). However, the large and especially the small pot (fish) contain fairly common ingredients (cut into diamond shapes) in Asian cuisine, to the point of making you doubt the percentage of homemade ingredients. Consequently, for almost €30 with a basic side dish (steamed bun), it's not just the chili that's spicy...
