I've been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years; most of the dishes are very good, the ingredients are high quality, and the service is excellent. If you're looking for a good Asian restaurant in Chinatown, I recommend starting with Lao Viet.

10/07/2026: Thank you to the team for their warm welcome and invaluable advice. The menu changes frequently, but I discovered some real gems; everything was incredibly good. The waitress who greeted us on July 9th was particularly wonderful!
10/07/2026: Food was ok. The service was not good. It was slow. They forgot a few items we ordered. They forgot our dessert which was ordered with everything else at the beginning. This meant we sat there for a very very long time afterwards and were not tended to,not even to see if we needed anything. Our party asked if our desserts were combing. They forgot them so we paid and left. Other items were forgotten as well. In general the starters such as the sushi were good. The fish for the larger dish was good as well.

28/07/2026: Very good value for money, especially for lunch.
24/07/2026: The welcome was very friendly, the dishes were generous and delicious (beef barbecue and bibimbap). The only slight drawback: a little too much ambient noise (some customers were talking so loudly that it was impossible to hear each other). We will definitely be back.
